FYI, ‘et’ cannot mean ‘of’ in that context (although you could argue that translation if it were prunae, which may have been what he intended to say). As it stands, it means ‘circle AND glowing rocks.’

It is actually “Surculus et pruna”.

As mentioned on 30 Rock, it means exactly “twig and plums”. Of course, it is a fictional secret society, but as for the literal meaning, the latin phrase is translated as shown.

They have a coat of arms on the very NBC website: http://www.nbc.com/30-rock/exclusives/donaghy-uncovered/images/twig-plum-600.jpg

Good job necro-ing the thread so no one would notice your error. Fortunately, there was a REAL 30Rock fan about…

“Circulus et pruna” means “Circle and coal” (as stated).
“SURculus et pruna” merely means “Shoot and coal”, NOT “Twig and plum(s)”. Granted, a shoot (botany-wise) could sometimes be mistaken for a twig, but never the other way around. Ergo, you fail.
